Is ';Burt's Bees'; associated with the occult?

I have heard rumors that the company, Burt's Bees, which makes lip balm, skin care, sunblocks and other skin products, are somehow deeply involved in the occult, such as Wiccan or other witchcraft related practices, but have been unable to find any definite confirmation at their website or elsewhere on the web. Does anyone have any definite indications, web references, etc., to prove or disprove this rumor. Snopes.com has no info on this one.Is ';Burt's Bees'; associated with the occult?
did some searching. and burt's bees seems to be a popular product line among neopagans and wiccans. seems to be due to the ingredients being all natural. did the company realize a market was out there for such a thing in the wiccan community? probably so. and they were smart to capitalize on it!

though, i doubt very seriously, there is some CEO out there chanting spells to double his quarterly earnings. lol.Is ';Burt's Bees'; associated with the occult?
People have long tried to claim businesses are giving $$ to the occult or satanic organizations. The same thing has been said about Proctor and Gamble, Liz Claiborne, and others...and it's always proven to be false.

I've not seen anything that specifically singles out Burts Bees as occultic. Just because they're committed to being Earth friendly, and are used by many who do express such beliefs, it does NOT mean they are occultic themselves.
And what if it is?

Wicca isn't CONTAGIOUS, you know...
The original guy who started this organic, all-natural product business, sold out to a NC company (AEA investors) in 2003. Burt lives in Maine, and so do I, and just because he wanted his products to be pure and organic does not mean that he had any Wiccan or other nature based religion. Not that it means anything, but you are wrong here. And if he did, does that somehow make his lip balm tainted? LOL

atheist
What the heck difference does it make, really?
No they just make good skin products...and so what if they were...
Oh goody, a witch hunt!!!!

How utterly insane. Burt's Bees is a wonderful company and they make amazing products. They may be Wiccan or Pagan or any faith for that matter.

It DOESN'T matter what faith they are does it?

And, for the record, Wiccan...... is a wonderful, vibrant, giving, loving faith. Wiccans do not worship the devil because the devil does not exist.

Maybe you should write to Burt's Bees and ask them your question?

If you don't, you will prove that all you are interested in is GOSSIP.
NO!
I've not heard that. Their products are good.
I bet if you went to Google.com and looked up their website, they'd have a page all about how they are NOT involved in the occult, and would all the stupid, gullible Christians in the world please STFU about it already??
and proctor %26amp; gamble is of the devil. hahaha...
WHAT?!?!? That's just stupid.
No they are not - your just going to have to take my word on that as a TRUE ';Occultist';.

Wicca/ Witchcraft is not 'deeply occult' by the way!!
No, but it turns out that telemarketers are.
It would not suprise me. We have a lot of creative, educated and wonderful minds amoung the Pagan Community in our country.

The products this company put out are not only pure but enviromental %26amp; animal friendly. I will continue to buy their products reguardless of who they are produced by as long as they hold up their high standards.
I have never heard this rumor at all. I do want to make one thing a little more clear for you, however. It sounds as though you believe that Wicca is a bad thing. Actually, Wicca is the belief that only allows a person to do good things. Anything that is done to hurt anyone, or to get personal gain, is against all laws of Wicca. Wicca does rely on nature for most everything. I do not think that Nature is God........but, I do believe that God is IN Nature. Using herbs to heal is nothing new. It is the oldest of healing ways. Remember, medications did not start out as being synthetic. It simply became easier to make synthetic medications than to 'grow' them. Just wanted to let you understand that one.
Theres no such thing....

I was in ';the occult'; its all a joke
Even if they are, I won't quit usuing their stuff.
