What is the best burt's bees lip balm?

I have used Burt's Bees lip balm in the original flavor, the Beeswax Lip Balm. I have tried the pomegranate Replenishing Lip Balm, but did not care for it. Also, the newest that I have seen here is the Honeycomb one, but I didn't care for it, either. I put the Lifeguard Lip Balm on at the beach of if I am going to be in the sun for the SPF protection, but I always go back to my original one. Hope this helps. Good luck. this stuff is amazing, champaigne and watermelon are the best kinds, champaigne really makes your lips pop out. Not only does Burts replenish your lips and make them less chap, it also makes them lusher. Its made from all natural ingrediants, so you know you aren't putting any cow intestines on your lips, like most lip glosses have in them. Burts Bee's is totally amazing for just 5-7 dollars. Try it you'll love it

The regular burt bees lip balm in the tube (not the pot. The pot forumla is a little differnt) is exactly what you are lookng for. It has peppermint oil in it, and its not to heavy and makes you lips super soft and smooth esp. if you use it at night.

its very good for the wintertime, as its very mositurizing...I don't believe in using night creams though, as they contradict what your skin is trying to do at night....so worn during the day (if you have normal -dry skin) its a nice product.

I don't have children but often help shop for safe products for my absolutely adorable nephew who has dry skin. The organic/natural aisle in the grocery store usually has a great selection of baby products that are free of ingredients we try to avoid.

I love all the Burts Bees baby products. I especially like the shampoo/body wash. It lathers so much that I only have to use a tiny bit on the washcloth and it smells so wonderful. I also use the Burts Bees apricot baby oil and the lotion. The products have such a sweet smell that is my baby's ';signature'; scent now. I also feel good knowing that there arn't yucky chemicals in the products.

Has anyone here tried to Burt's Bees shampoos and conditioners? They sound real good, full of honey and oils and such, all natural products, no sulfate or anything like that. I like burts bees lip balm, and almond lotion, and a few other choice items, but its really a hit and miss on the hair products. Ive used many because i had a friend who sold it so i got so many gift bags it isnt funny.
I really didnt like it. For the price, i would rather my hair smell like a good salon rather then ';rosemary peppermint leaf'; or anything like that. like i said some things are ok and its fun to try because its mostly natural.But the shampoos and face cleaners i would stay away from. Just got a tattoo last Saturday. The tattooist told me to use a mild lotion...I put Burt's Bees Milk and Honey lotion on it. I just noticed that Sunflower and Coconut oil are the main ingredients. I just got the Burt's Bees pore-refining mask and on the back it says you can mix it with water or carrot juice for mature skin, green tea for oily skin, and tomato juice for trouble skin. Since I don't have any tomato juice is it ok if I mix it with my Garden Tomato toner. I was just wondering if its ok because it has alcohol and other ingredients. I have been using it for about a day now non stop. I love it. But, this morning I woke up and the whole left side of my top lip is swollen like a balloon and it feels like a cold sore. Carmex smells bad %26amp; camphor makes you addicted. I try to suggest to everyone to switch to Burt's. Their products are really great %26amp; so gentle. Baby Bee stuff is lovely %26amp; makes babies smell really nice.

Personally I would rather put natural beeswax lotion on than something with polyurethane, or some other thing i can't pronounce. Usually the closer you get to the environment, the more healthy something is for you. For example, organic foods are without pesticides which appeals to people because they don't want to consume pesticide. Same thing with organic skin care products. I would go with the carmex click (a chapstick, not a jar) because the stick/tube form gets less germs than the jar and it contains sunscreen and has a few flavors (plain, mint, vanilla)

I love the Honey version of the lip balm much more than the Beeswax. With the Beeswax formula, the tingle was nice, but it didn't do as good of a job moisturizing my lips as I had hoped it would. So I switched to the honey one, and it's my all time favorite lip balm. It makes my lips feel so healthy and soft, and the effect lasts long after I take it off. It's also great to put under lipstick or lip gloss to make them last longer and keep them from drying out my lips. I love the Burt's Bees products that I have. I LOVE the lip shimmer, they are really pretty for everyday and come in a ton of shades. They are all natural and give your lips a tingling feeling (due to peppermint oil) when you apply it. I love the shade watermelon, because it goes really pretty with all skin tones! I like their lip gloss, but it's not my favorite. They don't have a wide variety of colors, and due to the mica, sometimes the sparkles get clumpy. I also use their soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream. It really cleans and moisturizes my face and leaving it fresh. I like their lip balms a lot too, I mostly reapply because I want to! They last a really long time and deeply moisturize. They even offer some with sunscreen in them, however those ones aren't very moisturizing. In the winter time I use the Burt's Bees hand salve, with deeply moisturizes the hands. It's a bit greasy, but it's the ONLY thing that will work for my hands. If I don't use it, my hands will crack and bleed.
I think most of the line is great. The lip balm works really well, and their moisturizers work great. The exfoliating products don't do so well, but the regular soaps and cleansers work great. Stay away from the deep pore cleanser, daily facial scrub, and the like, and you won't be disappointed.
The body butter is really good for dry skin, too.
well, i really love ther beeswax lipbalm in the stick version, not the pot so much.
its a nice waxy balm, and its also a good base for lipgloss or lipstick.. but as you may know , it adds no shine whatsoever.
i also likt their Carrot Face lotion, their no-tear shampoo bar and also their Lettuce toner..plus its all natural and you know it'll be good for you..
I love Burt`s Bees lip balm. I makes your lips sooo smooth and healthy, and if you want you can get it in colors. I don`t know to much about the other products, but I have heard great things. Also, they don`t test on animals, which is a very nice added bonus.

I use to use burts bees but stopped about 2 yrs ago because in my opinion I found something better. Extreme Pout lip balms by Isabella Pelle. They moisturize, protect, taste great, and plump my lips.
I love them! I really like the original lip balm, because it's very moisturizing and I like the minty smell. I like everything else I've tried but it's kinda expensive.
let's put it this way-I have been using just about all the products for years, especially the moisturizers and even though I am 47, people think I look 10 years younger! I swear by Burt's!

I love the Honey version of the lip balm much more than the Beeswax. With the Beeswax formula, the tingle was nice, but it didn't do as good of a job moisturizing my lips as I had hoped it would. So I switched to the honey one, and it's my all time favorite lip balm. It makes my lips feel so healthy and soft, and the effect lasts long after I take it off. It's also great to put under lipstick or lip gloss to make them last longer and keep them from drying out my lips. That company makes a lot of amazing products, but their lip balm has got to be my favorite. :)Thoughts on Burt's Beeswax lip balm, and other Burt's Bees products?
I love the Burt's Bees products that I have. I LOVE the lip shimmer, they are really pretty for everyday and come in a ton of shades. They are all natural and give your lips a tingling feeling (due to peppermint oil) when you apply it. I love the shade watermelon, because it goes really pretty with all skin tones! I like their lip gloss, but it's not my favorite. They don't have a wide variety of colors, and due to the mica, sometimes the sparkles get clumpy. I also use their soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream. It really cleans and moisturizes my face and leaving it fresh. I like their lip balms a lot too, I mostly reapply because I want to! They last a really long time and deeply moisturize. They even offer some with sunscreen in them, however those ones aren't very moisturizing. In the winter time I use the Burt's Bees hand salve, with deeply moisturizes the hands. It's a bit greasy, but it's the ONLY thing that will work for my hands. If I don't use it, my hands will crack and bleed.
I think most of the line is great. The lip balm works really well, and their moisturizers work great. The exfoliating products don't do so well, but the regular soaps and cleansers work great. Stay away from the deep pore cleanser, daily facial scrub, and the like, and you won't be disappointed.
The body butter is really good for dry skin, too.
well, i really love ther beeswax lipbalm in the stick version, not the pot so much.
its a nice waxy balm, and its also a good base for lipgloss or lipstick.. but as you may know , it adds no shine whatsoever.
i also likt their Carrot Face lotion, their no-tear shampoo bar and also their Lettuce toner..plus its all natural and you know it'll be good for you..
I love Burt`s Bees lip balm. I makes your lips sooo smooth and healthy, and if you want you can get it in colors. I don`t know to much about the other products, but I have heard great things. Also, they don`t test on animals, which is a very nice added bonus.

I use to use burts bees but stopped about 2 yrs ago because in my opinion I found something better. Extreme Pout lip balms by Isabella Pelle. They moisturize, protect, taste great, and plump my lips.
I love them! I really like the original lip balm, because it's very moisturizing and I like the minty smell. I like everything else I've tried but it's kinda expensive.
let's put it this way-I have been using just about all the products for years, especially the moisturizers and even though I am 47, people think I look 10 years younger! I swear by Burt's!

Yes you can have dry/oily skin it's actually referred to as combination skin.Because the nose, chin, center of the forehead, and the cheeks all have more oil glands than any other part of the face, it is not surprising that those areas tend to be oilier and may break out more frequently than other areas.By the way I love using Burt's Bees products like Herbal Blemish Stick blemishes which does wonders for breakouts when used daily.I also have combination skin so i use clean %26amp; clear oil absorbing sheets and try washing your face 2 times a day when neccessary.I always thought it was not good for people with oily/dry skin to moisturize a lot but it is so i recommend Alba Jasmine %26amp; Vitamin E Moisture Cream because Burt's bees moisturizers are mainly for aging skin and wrinkles.Although Burt's bees have great cleansers like Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream and my favorite Orange Essence Facial Cleanser.If you are still unsure about what to pick it is always a plus to purchase one of Burt's bees travel kits.Good Luck!What are the best Burt's Bees products for dry, oily skin?

If Burts Bees doesn't have petroleum like Chap-Stick does, stay with it,unless you want to try another brand. Avon has a great line of lip protectors that aren't too expensive %26amp; are safe for your lips. Look also for the cocoa butter based, lanolin, %26amp; beeswax based ones. Petrol is eventually drying your lips out %26amp; that's why you have to reapply it frequently. It's got a great deal of petrol in it.
I tried Burt's Bees when I got a variety pack as a stocking stuffer last year. They were okay. But I had to re-apply it a lot more than I do my favourite brand. Since I was 12 years old (I'm 46 now), I have been a faithful user of Bonne Bell Lip Smacker. Nothing keeps my lips in better shape. Not Chapstick, not Carmex, not The Body Shop. Blistex comes close. But I love Bonne Bell Lip Smacker. At just under $2, not a bad price for something so effective. You can see all varieties in the link to Bonne Bell, below.
Also... I sometimes get women asking ';What lip colour is that, and who makes it';... Oddly, it's always when I'm wearing the Bonne Bell Dr Pepper Lip Smacker. That always surprises them, and even me too.

Petroleum Jelly like Vasaline works wonders. I do know that a lot of models use it. I have always had chapped lips and nothing would work, not even burts bees but since I've been using vasaline my lips have been really soft.
also, drinking more water and eating more citrus fruits helps hydrate the skin making it softer.
well if burts bees works from you then i would advise sticking with that. I use a Coca Butter based lipbalm which i find incredible (Palmers) . You can also find some really good lipbalms at heath/natural food stores. Luca's Paw Paw ointment is really great aswell. Alot of people stay to steer clear of vaseline based products..but they work sooo well!

Lip Shimmers- These have a minty smell and leave your lips tingly with a shimmery color! I love them! The best colors are Nutmeg, Watermelon, Rhubarb, and Radiance. Stay away from the cocoa color though.

The medicated one healed my chapped lips in 3 days, with a minty tingle!
The Replenishing lip balm with cranberry oil gets in your mouth easily and then tastes awful though. It adds a glossy pinky color though.
The beeswax lip balm makes your lips tingle and feel fantastic.
The honey lip balm smells like honey alot and moisturizes your lips very well.
Lip Glosses- The lemon lime one smells FANTASTIC! Their good for your lips, too!
Face washes- I use the Garden Tomato Complexion Soap along with the Garden Tomato Toner. It leaves my skin fabulous and I haven't had a pimple for a while since I started using these products!
The garden tomato soap and toner are formulated for oily skin. They have a wild lettuce soap for dry skin.
Face mask- Their Pore refining mask is SO REFRESHING! Pretty pricey, but it makes your pores VANISH! It makes your face tingle and GLOWEY!

I slather them on at night and go to bed smelling sweet, like honey. They moisturize pretty well and are Average body lotions.
Hand Moisturizers- I have the Almond Milk Hand Creme, the Beeswax %26amp; Banana Hand Creme, Hand Salve, and Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme.

The Honey Foot Creme smells alot like Honey. It leaves your feet moisturized and soft. I love it! It's perfect for foot massages.
The peppermint foot lotion literally leaves your feet GLOWING and tingly all over. I love it!

The only thing I use and love is their lemon cuticle cream.

I've used a lot of their products and I haven't been dissapointed with any of them (Except the Carrot Nuritive Body Lotion, the smell makes me wanna puke). All my friends love them too. For Christmas I make sure to buy plenty of Burt's Bees Gift Baskets.

I've tried it, and even though I am a big fan of Burt's Bees personal care products, I have to say that this is a dud. First of all, it's hard to use it. The bar always gets grimy and gooey. Yes, as long as the polish is dry. It helps your cuticles if you keep the polish just slightly away from them too.

Do Burt's Bees facial products really work?
I have an oily T-zone with comfortable cheeks and i have a bit of an acne problem. I have been searching for YEARS to find a really good skin program that can clear up my complexion and make my skin look soft, not shiney. I have tried proatciv, cliniques 3-step program, clean and clear, and many others, but never Burt's Bees. Has anyone ever tried their facial products before and do they really work? I would copy and paste the info I get off beautypedia.com but its copyrighted because you have to pay for a subscription but the creator is a beauty expert and has tested pretty much every product on the market right down to the individual ingredients. She rates all Burt's Bees skincare very low. Her store website cosmeticscop.com has some reviews and also her skincare to purchase, I started using her stuff and my skin cleared up--costs around the same as Clinique.Do Burt's Bees facial products really work?

clearasil ultra works the best for me, I mean even my brother who's 17 had this stuff that was given to him from a dermatologist and he was using it and it still wasn't working, i let him try some of my clearasil and he said it's the best stuff that he's ever used, and he's got bad acne, but it's gone now.
i havent actually used it.
but i love their chapstick.
and ppl at my school tell me its awesome.

Sometimes, when you get a product that is going to draw out some of that nasty bacteria and cleanse your skin, its going to bring the problem up to the top layer of skin, it will seem like its getting worse, but really its just hurrying up all the pimples you had on the way. Give it a few weeks, and maybe mix in a tea tree oil spot treatment as well! It works wonders. If you have a lot of money to spend on your acne then you realllyyyy have to try The Hungarian Hot mask by Eminence, its seriously did wonders for reducing my acne, and it worked immediately!

I love the honey one. It smells so good to me..I just love it! Doesn't give the same cooling sensation as the normal one, but it still gives that sheen that I love, and is mild, but not mild enough that it won't work for super dry lips.

This is absolutely my HG. I love the tingly sensation and it freshens up your breath(:

i wanted champagne but since i have pale skin i wonder if it'll make my lips pale too, which would look weird :S

No, that's a lot of marketing hype. Time may fade the marks, but it all depends on your skin type (coloring) and skin elasticity to begin with. It can never hurt to moisturize, but don't expect much. Regrettably skin doesn't have the same appearance as before pregnancy and child birth. Consider your stretch marks a badge of honor from motherhood.
it's hard to say, and stretch marks will fade on their own anyways, but moisturizing with any kind lotion will improve the elasticity of your skin so I wouldn't worry

I had a nasty surgery scar, and doctor suggested Vitamin E oil for treatment, I couldn't find Vitamin E oil in local pharmacy, but did find it in gel capsules. I peirced the pill and applied the vitamin E, and was amazed at how fast it reduced the scar, did not totally eliminate it, but remarkable reduction. Hope this helps.
