Does anyone know if the ';Burt's Bees'; products are cheaper at Walmart?
Most things are cheaper there. And if so, how much cheaper.. a couple dollars?
I know, it seems like i could just go check myself considering how many Walmarts there are!! Actually i am not close to one, and the Walmart.com site does not list the prices for it.Does anyone know if the ';Burt's Bees'; products are cheaper at Walmart?
That depends on what other retail competitor you are comparing to. Generally Walmart's have to maintain the same price across the board but I do know for a fact that prices vary from store to store and state to state. Banking on the every day low prices (which doesn't say much) its supposed to have the cheapest price on an everyday average.
Unless its on sale someplace else, usually Walmart is cheaper. If another retailer has an sale advertisement for it then you can comp the item at Walmart and they will match the price.

I have multiple friends who insist that Burt's Bees lip balm is so addictive because ground- up glass is added to the mixture. (i have oily skin and i use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash. works 100% great!!!)
unfortunetly they have no cure for dark circles thats what i get.i love burts bees.for oily skin its bad to wash your face.for dark circles use steeped chamomile tea bags (make sure they aren't toooooo hot!).

I felt the face creams were too heavy and thick, it did not absorb well in my skin although their lip balm is nice, I did not like the other products. start out with a little sampler kit, maybe you can find them at CVS drugstores. but im personally partial to the cocnut foot cream. it's amazing on your feet and prevents/cures any other little dry spot that might creep up on you like elbows or knees...but otherwise, i love the stuff!!

I hear its nice, but I had a friend who had a bad reaction due to the soy products in some of the burts bees products..so if you are allergic to soy , check labels.
I love Burt's products. I had problems with very dry lips from living in the desert until I found his lip balm. A family member has eczema and it works great on that too as well as insect bites.
It's great stuff. I used the older persons product line and was very happy. I still use the lipsticks and balms as well!
Uhm, they're kind of cheap. I mean they smell good, are all natural and have cute packaging but I wasn't really impressed with it. I like the idea of them, just not the products. Natural essential oils (like lavender, rosemary etc..) can actually be more irritating to the skin than some synthetics. I know that sounds weird but it's true. Their lip balm with peppermint irritates the heck out of my lips. It's too strong. The honey lip balm is not too bad but too waxy. I do like the uber greasy coconut foot cream though. The carrot body cream smelled gross to me as did the milk body cream and they were both watery. The honey body cream had a strange consistency. It was sticky and watery feeling even though it's thick. For a plain old face moisturizer they may be okay. I found them too be too greasy. If you are worried about wrinkles, puffiness, etc.. perhaps another brand would be better.
if you have oily skin then the tomato soap is really good. They have a blemish healing product that works good too. It all depends on the type of skin that you have. A friend of mine has used the products for older skin and she has been really happy with it.
There products are 99.8% organic which means it can't be bad for you, and on top of that it's healthy. If i were you i would really go for it, i use a lot of their products and i have no complaints..nothing better than au natural...good luck

Anyway, the point is, I was suffering from seriously chapped lipsticks. And aside from gooey heavy glosses, not much else was helping to hide all that yucky cracked skin. start out with a little sampler kit, maybe you can find them at CVS drugstores. but im personally partial to the cocnut foot cream. it's amazing on your feet and prevents/cures any other little dry spot that might creep up on you like elbows or knees...but otherwise, i love the stuff!!

the burt's bee's products are all natural and they don't test on animals. the shampoos and conditioners are wonderful and the lip balm is great unless you have extremely sensitive lips.

I love Burt's products. I had problems with very dry lips from living in the desert until I found his lip balm. A family member has eczema and it works great on that too as well as insect bites.

Nivea has such a creamy feel to it and feels so soothing on my lips! It helps chapped lips in about a day my absolute fave! I got my friends hooked on Nivea too! Definately get Nivea over Carmex and Burt's Bees :)

I personally don't wear much makeup, but I have some Burts stuff and I love it. It's cruelty free, all natural, and supports a small buisness rather than a huge corporation. And it tastes and smells good.

I've never used it for acne, but I do use their products and I love them, they are awesome and do what they say they do. Try to stay way from petroleum based products like vaseline intensive care because these have a lot of synthetic ingredients in them and do not preserve your skins natural moisture. It's sort of how drinking soda or iced tea might quench your thirst at first but since they're both caffeinated they only dehydrate you even more. Petroleum jelly is not good for your skin in the long run. Natural products are.

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

The lip balm is amazing - the cheap $3 one moisturizes chapped lips and cools them because of the beeswax. I've used Chapstick and Carmex but they aren't as cooling as Burt's Bees nor were they as long-lasting and good-smelling in my opinion. It's around the same price as Chapstick so I'd give it a try - it's worth it and lasts months for me. I also love their cuticle cream; I got a sample of it and use it religiously every day - it's addicting!
My mom owns one of their colored lip balm/lipstick combos and she likes it. I also used to use their Tea Tree Oil roller on my acne which helped. As for the other products, I haven't tried them, but overall they have gotten some good followers.
There are pros and cons to Burt's Bees:
PROS:
- a nice minty flavour: I don't know why people say it smells weird, it smells like peppermint and honey.
-the lip balm keeps your lips looking natural: It doesn't look like you are wearing gloss or balm, it looks like your lips are healthy
- all products are almost all natural: The lip balm, for example, is 95.28% natural
-the acne product (I forget the name, but it contains tea tree oil) is said to work very well, although I myself have never used it
-a nice feeling: It gives your lips a nice tingly feeling, and they almost immediately feel moisturized
CONS:
-price: The lip balm is only around $4, but there are still cheaper lip balms and chap stics
- it dries out: I have the beeswax lip balm tin, and I often find that in the morning, it is very hard to apply because it is so dry, and doesn't go on your lips smoothly
-reapplying: Sometimes this product stays on my lips for a very long time, but other times I have to reapply every fifteen minutes or so, sometimes even more.
Although there are some downsides, I would definitely recommend this product, and it is my favourite kind of lip balm. I would choose it over chap stick any day.

i use the clean and clear morning burst scrub and it works good on my black heads. also putting tape on your nose and tearing it off helps soooo much. it doesnt hurt and gets all the dead skin off letting your pores breathe and clean out. so try the tape deal, then wash with any scrub you want using warm water. then once you rinse off all the scrub, splash cold cold water on your skin. it closes/ well actually just shrinks your pores leaving you less prone to blackheads. after about 3 days you will notice seriously amaing results. i did :) hope that helpedDo Burt's Bees facial scrub help blackheads?
i have a ton of blackheads too! i asked my dermatologist about a scrub and he said that facial scrubs irritate the skin and can actually cause clogged pores. i use Cetaphil facial wash and pore strips to get them out or to help with the dirt on my face. try a mild face wash first to get the dirt off and if that doesn't help after awhile, I'd say the pore strips. JUST DON'T GIVE UP!!

You usually get Burt Bees Products at Target, CVS, Walgreens, Whole Foods, (I've personally never seen it at Walmart before). I've seen multi packs aswell that have like 5 different shades, I think those are great that way you can try them all and see which one is your favorite! You can also get some of the Shimmers online at Drugstore.com I just checked and they have reviews so you can find some info about them before you buy it. I'm pretty sure they have every single color of Shimmer lip product Burts Bee makes. Hope this helps!

Can you put Burt's Bees Body Lotion on a sun burn?
It's probably not a good idea because its not meant for that. A great lotion that is still cheap is Suave Aloe with Cucumber Moisturizer.

Burt's Bees- the regular yellow stick is really good. I totally agree with the other post- the shimmers are not good. If you want color- Bobbi Brown tinted lip balm is fabulous! It is extremely moisturizing and feels great. Also- Origins has a lipstick in the green tube that is very moisturizing and it has a little hint of mint to it.

YES! I love this product, so much. =] It is very moisturizing and conditioning, while at the same time being shimmery, sparkly and providing a little bit of color! Plus they feel slightly tingly on the lips because of the peppermint-like ingredients. Definitely worth the money, they are fabulous!

Cvs. Any drug store. They cost a little more than other brands but I heard they work great. I heard the chapstick works really good.
you can buy them pretty much anyhwere, wal mart,drugstores, i've even seen them at loblaws.their products are okay but i find that they aren't worth what i paid because they're usually pretty pricey. hope that helps!

You can get it at any Walgreens or CVS.
They are a tad bit expensive, but yes it works.
I always find them at any drug store but the place I found the biggest line was at Target. Hope that helped a little!
CVS has a large selection.
It is slightly expensive, but all of the products work well.
I especially like the peppermint lip balm.
